MIDSAR provides a number of programs for the communities we serve. Here are a few examples of the programs you can request using the form below:

Child is lost / Hug-A-Tree

teaches children what to do to avoid getting lost and how to stay comfortable and help searchers locate them if they do get lost.

Open House / Meet and Greet

Our members will attend your event with our information table, our animals, and team equipment.

Fire Department "Golden Hour" Training

We will attend your first responder organization meeting to share how to handle the initial response to a search detail with best practices and things to avoid.

Map and Compass / GPS clinic

Teaches basic Topographical Map and Compass skills. A several hour program which teaches you how to make your map talk compass language and also a practical compass game to sharpen your compass skills.

Search & Rescue Merit Badge

Let us help your troop earn the search and rescue merit badge with this 8 hour program.
